Designed by Robert Trent Jones, the 18-hole, par 71 championship course at Tierra del Sol is both challenging and inviting. Tierra del Sol is located on the northwest coast of Aruba, deep within its distinctive desert-like landscape. Landscapers at Tierra del Sol combined indigenous species like the divi-divi tree with lush tropical greenery to create a dramatic scenery that brings players back again and again. It isn't uncommon to see other local treasures on the course at Tierra del Sol; watch as small salamanders scamper across the greens and bright parakeets soar overhead. Tierra del Sol has a number of great facilities to compliment its golf course. Players can relax and soak their weary muscles in the Tierra del Sol swimming pool, have a drink at its bar or lounge, or enjoy a meal at one of its restaurants. Tierra del Sol also has a full service pro shop and locker rooms on site. In winter green fees at Tierra del Sol are US$133, including golf cart rental. Rates drop during the low season and after 3pm. Tierra del Sol golf course is open daily and year-round from 7am to 7pm.
